LOST IN THOUGHTS

Thoughts and thoughts; forming and dissolving
Like fireflies in summer's eve.
Here I sit; On this wet wood dock
And swim in a thoughtful sea.

The rise and ebb of dancing light
Dazing the calmed water-
A search of line, of shimmery horizon
Igniting my imbecile wonder.

Rendition of ripples, created with splash-
So thoughtless; in the vast ocean.
Shores kissed by the waves, in canopy of rays,
Laugh at my trembling reflection

I stare and gaze, the ink tint sky
To bridge things with some clouds,
I let me dive, in water so deep
To shed out all my doubts.

BY THE SEA.....MEMORIES....

I SET OUT AGAIN, ON THIS WINTER NIGHT,

TO DETACH MYSELF FROM THIS OSTENTATIOUS RING-

NOT TO EMBRACE SORROW AND MELANCHOLY

BUT TO WALK BY THE SEA.

BY THE SEA I FIND MY FOCUS

HERE IS THE SPACE TO BE MYSELF

COMMUNE WITH SURF AND SAND AND SKY

REGARDLESS OF QUESTIONS OF WHEN N WHY.

UNDER THE PLAYING CANOPY OF-

THE MELLIFLUOUS MOON AND PALM LEAVES,

I PONDER ON SPECIAL MEMORIES OF MINE

TO FEEL THE INFINITE POSSIBILITIES OF LIFE.

THE TOUCH OF SAND SEEMS ETHEREAL TO ME.

CRACKING OF WAVES THE SWEETEST MELODY.

CARESSING WINDS REMIND WITH THEIR HOWLS.

THERE ARE MOMENTS WHEN SOLITUDE REFRESHES THE SOUL.

I WALK BACK TO WORLD OF ENDLESS DREAMS.

TO WAKE TO MY GOALS OF REALITY.

BUT HERE I STAND TREASURING IT ALL

INTO A GOLDEN RING OF MEMORY.
