Wait and Belief...

Eloping from mist and cloud

Of a ruthless stony fort,

I fly back to that green glade,

Where time has frozen for me.                  

You gave your heart, for me to keep;

And took my soul away.

Aware of the fate, my warrior seeks,

My Elfish heart still beats for you.

Abandoned by tears, captivated by grief;

Hope dancing on my window sill.

I wait for you to return for me,

And relive that day for eternity.

Pity by sun and remorse by moon,

Winds blow with mocked sympathy.

I regret not my choice, knowing you’ll return,

For love is more powerful than anything.

Winds flow with tinge of love
Sky is doomed with self alone
I stare and wait to be with you
And Hope rekindle in my soul-

Time flies with swift birds
Burning sun is off with dusk
My tears shimmer in twilight’s flare
Still Hope rekindle in my soul-

Whispering springs remind me of you
Memories of you touch me like dew
I greet the moon with my rising despair
But I let Hope rekindle in my soul.

You and I will be together again
Wallow in snow, sing in rain
Till then I’ll stay with my endless wait
And wait and wait, till when I can.

YEARS OF DARKNESS FADING AWAY

GOT JUST ONE MORE NIGHT TO STAY

NOW I'LL SEE LIGHT OF LIFE AGAIN AND AGAIN

ABANDONING THIS DARK DEN

WAITING FOR THE MORNING STAR.....

TO COME AND HEAL MY EYES

TO COME AND SHINE AND MAKE THINGS BRIGHT.....

RELEASE ME FROM THE SHADOWS OF THE NIGHT

THE DOOMED DARKNESS CRIES ALOUD

AS I SEE THE RAY OF HOPE

AND BUTTERFLIES AND RAINBOW DYES

ARE GONNA COME ON MY WAY ALONG

WAITING FOR THE MORNING STAR.....

TO COME AND HEAL MY EYES

TO COME AND SHINE AND MAKE THINGS BRIGHT.....

RELEASE ME FROM THE SHADOWS OF THE NIGHT

THE FEEL AND TOUCH WILL HAVE A SIGHT

FROM NOW ON FOREVER

I'LL SEE THE SKY AND WATER BLUE

AND SEE THINGS HOWEVER

THE GREEN LAND LUSH I FELT FOR LONG

WILL NOW GLAZE MY EYES

AND EVEN THE DARK AND ENDLESS NIGHT

WILL BE STAR LITE AND O MOON SO BRIGHT
